How Barcelona could line up against Getafe

Barcelona have big defensive problems ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash with Getafe in the Spanish capital.

Ronald Araujo is a major doubt for the match due to concussion, while Gerard Pique is unlikely to be unavailable due to a thigh problem; Eric Garcia and Jordi Alba are also out through suspension, so there will have to be a reshuffle for the game with Getafe.

Samuel Umtiti, Clement Lenglet and Oscar Mingueza could all feature at the back, while Dani Alves is likely to continue at right-back, with Sergino Dest still unavailable through injury.

Nico Gonzalez, Sergi Roberto and Pedri are also out of the match through injury, but the visitors will be boosted by the return of Sergio Busquets, who is expected to replace Frenkie de Jong, with the Netherlands international also missing out this weekend through suspension.

A front four of Ousmane Dembele, Memphis Depay, Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took to the field against Celta Vigo last time out, which ended in a 3-1 victory for the Catalan giants.

Head coach Xavi could select the same formation this weekend, although Riqui Puig is an option in midfield if the Spaniard decides to revert to a 4-3-3.

Ansu Fati is again expected to feature off the bench, as he continues his comeback from a long absence, while Adama Traore will also be hoping to receive some minutes in the team's penultimate match of the campaign.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Alves, Umtiti, Lenglet, Mingueza; Busquets, Gavi; Dembele, Memphis, Torres; Aubameyang
