Barcelona striker David Villa has revealed that he is nearing a return to fitness with the Catalan club.
The 30-year-old has been out of action since breaking his leg in December, however, the Spaniard is on course for a return before the end of the season.
"I'm really enthusiastic and have been burning up the later phases with a lot of work every day since it happened," Villa told the club's official website.
"I'm really happy, lively, content, and eager. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and am keen to enjoy football again from within."
Villa is expected to be part of Spain's squad for Euro 2012, if he can prove his fitness.
