Gerardo Martino heading for Middle East?

A report claims that Gerardo Martino could take a position in the Middle East if he leaves Barcelona in the summer.

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino could reportedly move to the Middle East at the end of the season should the Argentine be relieved of his duties at the Camp Nou.

Despite having a year remaining on his current deal, it has been suggested that Martino will leave the Spanish champions in the summer.

According to beIN Sport, Martino was offered a number of Middle East positions last summer, but eventually moved to Spain to take charge of Barcelona.

The 51-year-old has led his side into the final of the Copa del Rey and the last eight of the Champions League this season, but has drawn criticism for a perceived change of playing style.
