Cesc Fabregas returns to training

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has returned to training following an ankle problem.

The 26-year-old was forced to withdraw from the Spain squad for Wednesday's international friendly with Ecuador after suffering the injury while on tour with his club.

However, it is understood that the midfielder has since returned to training with the Catalan outfit ahead of their La Liga opener against Levante this weekend.

Fabregas has been widely linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.
