Cesc Fabregas nearing Barcelona return

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has now fully recovered from a hamstring injury that he picked up at the beginning of the month.

The 24-year-old sustained the problem during a training session and has since missed Barca's matches against Sporting Gijon and Racing Santander, while also being forced to sit out Spain's wins over the Czech Republic and Scotland.

Wednesday's Champions League fixture against Viktoria Plzen has come too soon for Fabregas, but he could play a part during Saturday's La Liga fixture against Sevilla.

He is expected to return to training with the Barca squad tomorrow.
