Barcelona boss Luis Enrique: "We deserve the league title"

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique calls on his side to secure a 'deserved' La Liga title next weekend away to Granada.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has insisted that his team "deserve" to win La Liga this season.

Sunday's 5-0 win over Espanyol moved the Catalan giants a step closer, and victory over Granada on the final matchday of the season next weekend would secure another championship.

Enrique's side wobbled between March 20 and April 17 - failing to win in four league games - but they have recorded four victories since then, scoring 21 times in the process and conceding zero.

"We deserve the league title and I hope we can be precise in the final game to win the title," Enrique told reporters. "We're 21-0 across the four games. I hope all my delicate situations are like this."

Atletico Madrid have dropped out of the race following their 2-1 defeat at Levante, but Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-2 at the Bernabeu to stay within a point of their Clasico rivals.
