Sergio Busquets rejoins Barcelona training

Sergio Busquets has continued his recovery from a thigh injury by featuring in Barcelona's morning training session in Catalonia on Monday.

The 25-year-old had been forced to withdraw from the Spain squad after picking up the strain during his club's 3-2 win over Valencia on September 1.

It had been feared that the defensive midfielder could miss the rest of the month as a result, but according to Football Espana, he was present during the training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

It was also confirmed on Sunday that Carles Puyol is nearing a return to first-team action.
