Barcelona's Carles Puyol "back in three weeks"

Barcelona defender Carles Puyol will be available for the Catalan outfit "in three weeks", according to the club's fitness coach Paco Seirullo.

Seirullo has also quelled claims that the experienced centre-back could struggle to reach the same level of performance following his absence.

"Puyol is likely to be back in three weeks. His knee is doing fine. He will be the player he was before," he told Mundo Deportivo.

The 35-year-old underwent knee surgery in the summer.
