Barcelona arrive at England's training base

Barcelona have arrived at St George's Park for a pre-season training stint.

The La Liga side will be at England's National Football Centre until Saturday, when they will then travel to France to continue their preparations for the new season.

Among those that have made the trip are Spanish internationals Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Pedro, but Lionel Messi has been given extended leave due to his World Cup commitments with Argentina.

New signings Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Claudio Bravo, Jeremy Mathieu and Ivan Rakitic were also a part of the travelling party, although under the terms of his four-month suspension, Luis Suarez was not present.
