Jordi Alba: 'Luis Suarez is very important'

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has said that Luis Suarez is already "really important" to the Catalan outfit.

The Uruguay international has still not scored for his new club, but registered both assists in Saturday's 2-1 win over Almeria.

"He made a great pass to Neymar for the first goal," Alba told the club's official website.

"Later, he found me all alone in front of the keeper. Suarez played a great game, he's adapted well, and he's really important for us."

Suarez made his debut for Barca just last month after serving a four-month worldwide suspension.
