Barcelona missing four players through injury against Real Sociedad

Barcelona will again be without the services of Ansu Fati, Pedri, Sergi Roberto and Samuel Umtiti for Thursday's La Liga contest with Real Sociedad.

Fati, Roberto and Umtiti have all recently been back in training after long-term injuries, but the trio remain on the sidelines for the clash with Real Sociedad.

Pedri, meanwhile, has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a hamstring problem.

Barcelona will be booted by the return of Gerard Pique, though, with the experienced centre-back available for selection once again after overcoming a groin problem.

Ronald Araujo is also back in the squad after serving a suspension against Cadiz on Monday night.

Sergino Dest had to be replaced in the latter stages of the 1-0 loss to Cadiz, but the United States international has been named in the squad for the fixture with the White and Blues.

Dani Alves was an unused substitute last time out, and Barcelona boss Xavi said in his press conference that the Brazilian was suffering with muscular discomfort, but he has also been named in the squad.
