Luis Enrique refusing to take Villanovense lightly

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique vows to name a strong side against Villanovense in the second leg of their last-32 clash in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has insisted that he will name a strong team for Wednesday's Copa del Rey last-32 second leg against Villanovense.

The Catalan giants could only manage a 0-0 draw in the first leg away to the Segunda B team at the end of October, leaving the tie delicately poised ahead of the return at Camp Nou.

Enrique has said that there will be some young players involved, but he will name a strong side to avoid any slip-ups at this stage of the competition.

"Four players from the reserves can play as they are the rules. Maybe I would have liked to have played more from the B team and the youth team but there is a risk with that. If we have a bad day we could get knocked out," Enrique told reporters.

"It wouldn't be the first time a team from Segunda B has knocked out a team from the top flight. We will be looking at certain aspects of our game. We know that we had difficulties in the first leg.

"It was a difficult pitch - we won't have to contend with that on Wednesday - but if you want to win the Copa you have to get through these games."

Barcelona are currently ahead of their fellow La Liga clubs in the Copa del Rey due to their involvement in the Club World Cup later this month.
