Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid to battle it out for Caglar Soyuncu?

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are reportedly contemplating whether to launch a summer approach for Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu.

While Los Blancos are one win away from winning a La Liga and Champions League double, Atletico are ready to make changes to their squad after a below-par effort in Spain's top flight.

According to the Daily Mail, both of the Madrid giants have identified Soyuncu as a potential addition ahead of 2022-23.

During his time at the King Power Stadium, the Turkey international has generally made a strong impression, featuring on 91 appearances in the Premier League since 2018.

However, after losing his status as a certain starter and with just a year left on his contract, there is scope for the 25-year-old departing the Foxes this summer.

Leicester would hope to recoup a fee similar to the £19m that they paid Freiburg in August 2018.
