Yevhen Konoplyanka to have Atletico Madrid medical?

Yevhen Konoplyanka has reportedly arrived in Spain to undergo a medical at Atletico Madrid.

The former Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, with Eurosport suggesting that the Ukrainian international had a medical at the North London club on Friday.

However, AS has published a picture, which they say shows Konoplyanka arriving at Madrid's Barajas Airport before having tests ahead of a possible move to the Rojiblancos.

In January 2014, Konoplyanka was widely expected to join Liverpool before a reported snag at the 11th hour, which meant that the deal didn't go ahead.
