Leo Baptistao has revealed his delight after joining Real Betis on loan from Atletico Madrid for the remainder of the season.
The Brazilian forward moved to Atletico from Rayo Vallecano at the beginning of the campaign, but has struggled for first-team football with the capital outfit.
"I spoke with my family, we analysed everything and we believe that in a sporting sense, I'm going to offer more here than I would at other teams," he told reporters at a press conference.
"Going out there on the pitch made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and my mother was crying in the VIP box. The fans showed what Betis is all about, that they're going to keep supporting us and cheering for us all the time.
"I believe that we can achieve permanence and we're not going to throw in the towel. Everyone together, united, we can do this."
Baptistao officially joined Betis at the weekend.
