Team News: Fernando Torres handed start for Atletico Madrid in derby

Fernando Torres will start for Atletico Madrid in their La Liga clash with city rivals Real Madrid.

Rojiblancos manager Diego Simeone has opted for Torres alongside Antoine Griezmann and Angel Correa in attack, with Jackson Martinez and Luciano Vietto named on the bench for Atleti.

Atletico will also have Gabi and Portuguese international Tiago lining up in the centre of midfield.

Meanwhile, Real have Sergio Ramos back in defence after recovering from a shoulder injury and Gareth Bale is named on the bench.

Los Merengues boss Rafael Benitez has chosen Casemiro to start in midfield, ahead of summer signing Mateo Kovacic.
