Report: Angel Correa nearing Atletico Madrid return

Angel Correa is reportedly nearing a debut for Atletico Madrid as the forward enters the latter stages of his recovery from heart surgery.

The 19-year-old was signed from San Lorenzo in the summer, but during his medical, a problem with the striker's heart was detected.

As a result, an operation took place in June and according to AS, the forward is progressing well and could return to light training later this month.

The talented Argentine is widely regarded as one of the brightest young talents in European football, with Atletico showing their faith by committing the youngster to a five-year contract earlier this summer.
