Atletico Madrid have confirmed that the hamstring injury suffered by Radamel Falcao is not overly serious.
The Colombian striker limped out of Atletico's 2-0 victory over Levante last night clutching the back of his leg.
That had resulted in speculation that 26-year-old had torn the muscle and could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
However, a scan this morning has revealed that no major damage has been caused and he could be fit for the Copa del Rey clash with Real Betis on Thursday evening.
Failing that, he should be included for the weekend's La Liga trip to Athletic Bilbao.
