Diego Simeone hints at Jose Sosa involvement

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has hinted that new signing Jose Sosa could feature against Valencia in the Copa del Rey last-16 clash on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old joined Atletico from Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv on loan for the remainder of the season last month.

He is yet to make his debut for the Spanish side, but has been named in the squad for the second leg at the Vicente Calderon.

"Sosa's better. He's growing and getting to know the group. He has quality that can come in handy. He may be an option [against Valencia] but I haven't decided yet," Simeone told reporters at a press conference.

Simeone is expected to ring the chances following the goalless draw with Barcelona in La Liga at the weekend.
