Raul Garcia 'out for two weeks'

Atletico Madrid midfielder Raul Garcia will miss the next two weeks of the season with an ankle injury.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Raul Garcia has been ruled out of action for two weeks after suffering an ankle injury in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Porto in the Champions League.

The Spaniard, who was replaced with 10 minutes remaining in the European clash in Portugal, appeared to pick up the injury while taking a shot.

Garcia underwent an MRI scan earlier this afternoon, where it was revealed that he had suffered a sprain to his lateral ligament, with the recovery time set at two weeks.

The 27-year-old joined Atletico from Osasuna in 2007.
