Premier League clubs battling for Christian Benteke?

A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.

The 22-year-old has scored 11 goals in 23 appearances since moving from Standard Liege during the summer transfer window.

The Midlands club are involved in a relegation battle this season, putting any potential admirers on red alert.

According to The Mirror, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool are all tracking the Belgium international, who has scored four goals in nine matches for his country.

The same newspaper also reports that Benteke, who cost the Villans a reported £7m transfer fee, could be tempted away from Villa Park in the summer.
