Paul Lambert: 'No offers for Darren Bent'

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has revealed that the club has not received any offers for Darren Bent.

The striker has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Villa Park in recent weeks after falling down the pecking order under Lambert.

"Darren was on the bench last week. We've not had a cross word at all," the Scot told reporters.

"Has there been any interest in Bent? None."

Bent made his last appearance for the Midlands side during a 3-2 win at Swindon Town in the Capital One Cup on October 30.
