Alan Hutton leaves Aston Villa for Bolton Wanderers

Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton has joined Bolton Wanderers on a one-month loan deal.

The 29-year-old has not featured for Paul Lambert's side during the current campaign, with the Scot admitting that the right-back is unlikely to play for the club again.

That has resulted in Bolton making their move for the Scotland international, who remains a regular with his national team despite his lack of club appearances.

Hutton is expected to be involved when Bolton host Blackburn Rovers at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.
