Didier Drogba laughs off Aston Villa reports

Didier Drogba has laughed off suggestions that he has been negotiating a move to Aston Villa.

On Monday afternoon, reports began to emerge that the former Chelsea forward was weighing up a surprise switch to the Championship outfit.

Villa owner Dr Tony Xia was quick to play down the rumours on social media and Drogba has gone to similar lengths to distance himself from a return to English football.

Drogba is currently plying his trade for Montreal Impact in the MLS.
