Aston Villa have completed the signing of midfielder Leander Dendoncker from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 27-year-old joins Steven Gerrard's side for an undisclosed fee, thought to be around £13m, after Villa made a breakthrough during deadline day talks.
Dendoncker has featured in five of Wolves' matches so far this season, including three starts, but he has now been allowed to leave Molineux after four years at the club.
Having initially joined on loan in 2018, the Belgium international went on to make his move to Wolves permanent and turn out more than 150 times for the club across all competitions.

"Aston Villa is pleased to announce the signing of Leander Dendoncker from Wolverhampton Wanderers," read a statement on Aston Villa's official website.
"The midfielder moves across the Midlands to Villa Park for an undisclosed fee."
The length of Dendoncker's contract at his new club has not been confirmed, but the versatile midfielder could make his Villa debut at home to champions Manchester City on Saturday.
The Belgian's arrival is not thought to be related to the future of Douglas Luiz, who has drawn deadline day interest from Arsenal.
