Aston Villa duo Idrissa Gueye, Adama Traore could be fit for Liverpool

Tim Sherwood could welcome back both Idrissa Gueye and Adama Traore for Aston Villa's trip to Liverpool on Saturday.

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has confirmed that both Idrissa Gueye and Adama Traore could be fit to face Liverpool this weekend.

Gueye missed Villa's recent matches against West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City, while Traore has not featured since the Capital One Cup second-round win over Notts County a month ago.

Sherwood also revealed that Gabriel Agbonlahor is a doubt for the trip to Anfield after coming off against rivals Birmingham on Tuesday.

Villa will not be up against former striker Christian Benteke tomorrow as he is out injured for Liverpool.
