Arsenal's Gabriel Magalhaes and Emile Smith Rowe both earn their first call-ups to the national teams of Brazil and England following injury withdrawals.

Arsenal duo Gabriel Magalhaes and Emile Smith Rowe have received their first call-ups to the Brazil and England senior teams respectively.

Smith Rowe was initially left out of the Three Lions squad for November's World Cup qualifiers, with Gareth Southgate admitting that the 21-year-old was unlucky not to make the cut.

However, following Marcus Rashford and James Ward-Prowse's withdrawals from the squad due to injury and illness respectively, Smith Rowe has been added to the senior squad after being promoted from the Under-21s.

The Hale End graduate links up with the Three Lions following his winner against Watford, which saw him join an elite crowd of Gunners players to score in three consecutive Premier League games for the club at the age of 21 or under.

Meanwhile, Gabriel replaces the injured Lucas Verissimo in Tite's Brazil squad, with the 23-year-old excelling in the heart of the Arsenal defence so far this season.

England will face Albania and San Marino this month, while Gabriel will eye his Brazil debut against either Colombia or Argentina.
