Zidane, Perez 'clash over Ceballos future'

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez reportedly have different views regarding the future of Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos.

The 22-year-old is said to be on the verge of joining Arsenal on a season-long loan move.

However, according to reports in Spain, Zidane wants the midfielder to leave on a permanent deal this summer in order to raise funds to further improve the squad.

Perez, though, is said to be the individual pushing for a loan exit as the president is still confident that Ceballos will be a big player for Los Blancos in the future.

The Spain international, who has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, scored three times in 34 appearances for his La Liga club during the 2018-19 campaign.

Madrid are said to be open to offers for nine first-team players in this summer's transfer window.
