Maurizio Zamparini: 'Juventus in pole position to sign Paulo Dybala'

Zamparini: 'Juventus lead Dybala race'

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that Juventus are in "pole position" to win the battle for Paulo Dybala.

The Argentine has been repeatedly linked with the likes of Arsenal and both Manchester clubs in recent weeks, but Zamparini has suggested that Juventus are leading the race, despite claiming that the club's valuation has not yet been met.

"Right now, Juve are in pole position," Zamparini told France Football. "They want to close the deal in a week. But, of course, I want the best possible deal. Dybala is being auctioned.

"The Bianconeri have offered me €35m (£25m), but I want €40m or more. I'm also dealing with Arsenal.

"Paris Saint-Germain have requested information from Dybala's agent, they know the player is on the market. PSG are interested just as they are at Arsenal, Manchester City, Juventus, Inter, Roma and Napoli."

Dybala has scored 13 goals in Serie A this season.
