Newcastle United midfielder Cheik Tiote is reportedly keen to remain at the Sports Direct Arena, despite interest from Arsenal.
The Gunners are believed to have targeted the Ivory Coast international in recent weeks, with reports touting a possible £20m fee.
Despite Arsenal's position, it is understood that Tiote is happy to stay at the North-East club after penning a six-year contract in February, according to ESPN.
Meanwhile, the North London club have also been linked with Magpies midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
