Reus's trophy ambitions to scupper Arsenal move?

Marco Reus will reportedly snub a move to Arsenal as he wants to challenge for major honours.

The Borussia Dortmund star is expected to be one of the hottest properties in Europe next summer as several clubs prepare to meet his rumoured £20m release clause.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Arsenal have all been linked with an interest in the 25-year-old, but a switch to the Emirates Stadium does not seem to be on the cards as the German international does not feel that he would be guaranteed trophies.

A source is quoted by The Sun as saying: "Reus wants to win titles and he is worried this would not happen at Arsenal."

Arsenal have won just one piece of silverware - last season's FA Cup - in the last nine years.
