Report: Arsenal eye Sevilla defender Federico Fazio

Arsenal are lining up a move for Sevilla defender Federico Fazio at the end of the season, according to a report.

Manager Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his defensive options in the summer and is also said to be interested in Swansea City captain Ashley Williams.

The Daily Mail report that the Gunners were interested in Fazio in 2009 following the departure of Kolo Toure but had a bid knocked back.

However, they will now revive their interest with the Spanish club in financial difficulties and are looking to offload players, including the centre-back.
