Lukas Podolski: 'No offers to leave Arsenal'

Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski insists that he did not have any offers to leave the London side during this summer's transfer window.

Lukas Podolski has insisted that Arsenal did not receive any offers for him during the transfer window.

It was speculated that the striker attracted interest from Juventus and Napoli this summer, but remains with the London side now that the transfer deadline has passed.

The German international told Bild: "A move away from Arsenal did not fall through because I had no offers to move.

"I had a very good conversation with the manager. He has stressed he is putting trust in me and my qualities. I do not have to fear anyone at Arsenal."

Podolski joined Arsenal from FC Koln in 2012.
