Report: Lukas Podolski to join Juventus on loan

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is reportedly close to joining Juventus on loan.

The German forward moved to Arsenal from Koln in 2012 and, despite boasting a decent scoring record, he has struggled to hold down a regular role in the team.

According to the Sunday Express, talks are at an advanced stage between Arsenal and Juventus, with the Italian club confident of wrapping up a deal early next week.

Podolski, 29, has made 116 appearances for his country and was part of the squad that won the World Cup this summer.
