Emery to rebuild around Ramsey, Aubameyang?

Unai Emery has reportedly indicated that he plans to build his Arsenal team around Aaron Ramsey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

On Monday night, it was claimed that Emery had won the race to succeed Arsene Wenger as manager of the Gunners, edging out Manchester City co-assistant Mikel Arteta.

According to The Sun, part of the reason why the former Paris Saint-Germain man will be named as the club's new boss is due to his ideas regarding how to get the best out of the first-team squad.

The Spaniard has allegedly suggested that he wants to hand key roles to both Ramsey and Aubameyang in order to improve the North London outfit in both the middle and forward areas of the pitch.

Aubameyang only penned a long-term contract with Arsenal in January but if Emery's plans are to come to fruition, the club will need to act fast to extend Ramsey's deal with just over 12 months remaining on the Welshman's current terms.
