Arsenal to battle German duo Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund for Wilfried Zaha?

Arsenal to battle German giants for Wilfried Zaha?

Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Bundesliga sides Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund also interested.

The Ivory Coast international has been a vital figure for the Eagles during their current decade-long spell in the Premier League, racking up nearly 300 appearances for the club overall and scoring 70 goals.

Having picked up a muscle injury in the victory over Leicester City at the start of April, the 30-year-old is currently out of action as Roy Hodgson looks to guide his side to top-tier safety in the final eight matches of their campaign.

According to Footmercato, Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are in the running to sign Zaha before the start of the 2023-24 campaign, with German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund also keen on the attacker.

The report claims that the Gunners, Bayern and Dortmund have all been tracking the progress of Zaha this season, with the Bundesliga duo further tempted by the fact the player's contract at Selhurst Park runs out in the summer.

French club Monaco are also said to be interested in the Ivorian, however Zaha's wish to play Champions League football could make a move to Les Rouge et Blanc undesirable if they are unable to achieve a top-three finish in Ligue 1.
