Arsenal would be prepared to pay Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez £275,000 a week to move to the club, according to a report.

Arsenal have reportedly made it clear to Lautaro Martinez that they would be prepared to hand him a contract of £275,000 a week if he made the move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are believed to have identified the Inter Milan forward as a leading target in the final third of the field, while Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest.

Martinez has scored 49 goals in 132 appearances for the Italian champions in all competitions, including 17 in 38 Serie A outings during the 2020-21 campaign.

According to Eurosport, Arsenal are 'very keen' on the 23-year-old and have indicated that they would be willing to pay him £275,000 a week to move to North London.

The report, though, claims that Mikel Arteta's side are yet to make a firm offer for the South American, who has less than two years left to run on his contract at San Siro.

Tottenham are believed to be willing to pay £60m for the striker this summer, as Nuno Espirito Santo's team prepare for the possible departure of Harry Kane.
