Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to spend £60m on Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez this summer, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made it clear to Inter Milan that they would be prepared to spend £60m on Lautaro Martinez during this summer's transfer window.

Harry Kane continues to be linked with a move away from Spurs, and the North London outfit are believed to be putting plans in place should the England captain leave in the final stages of the window.

Arsenal have recently been credited with an interest in Martinez, but Spurs are also said to be tracking a player who scored 19 times and registered 11 assists in 48 outings at club level last term.

According to Sky Sports News, Nuno Espirito Santo's side have already held discussions with Inter over a possible deal for the Argentina international.

The report adds that Spurs are willing to pay in the region of £60m for the forward, who has less than two years left to run on his contract at San Siro.

Inter have allegedly agreed to sell Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea for £97.5m this summer, but the club's financial issues could lead to more key players moving on ahead of the deadline.
