Arsenal have reportedly emerged as a potential destination for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

Despite having two stoppers currently competing for the number one position, Arsenal are open to allowing Emiliano Martinez move on this summer.

Should the Argentine depart before the end of the transfer window, Mikel Arteta will demand that a replacement is lined up as soon as possible.

According to The Mirror, the Gunners have been offered the opportunity to sign Areola on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.

The 27-year-old is back at Parc des Princes having spent last season at Real Madrid, making nine appearances in all competitions.

Fulham are also in discussions to sign the France international.
