Arsenal emerge as clear favourites for Raphinha?

Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Leeds United's Raphinha, despite Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona showing an interest.

Arsenal are reportedly in pole position to sign Raphinha from Leeds United.

The Brazil international has attracted interest from a number of clubs after impressing with 11 goals in 35 Premier League appearances last season.

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have all been linked with the winger, while Arsenal have reportedly had a bid turned down as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his attacking options.

Despite having their initial offer rejected, The Athletic are reporting that Arsenal are leading the race for the 25-year-old with further talks set to be held with the player's representatives.

The Gunners are reportedly growing confident that they can get a deal done, with the North London club set to make a fresh bid for the Brazilian.

Raphinha, whose current contract runs until 2024, is believed to be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium.
