Arsene Wenger is apparently considering making a bid for Jermain Defoe.
The Spurs player is seen as a replacement for the outgoing Nicklas Bendtner, according to The Mirror.
It is suggested that Defoe maybe amenable to a move, having previously admitted his disappointment at not starting every game.
The England international scored four goals in 22 league appearances last season. He joined White Hart Lane from Portsmouth for £15.75m in January 2009.
