Saturday's Premier League predictions including Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League fixtures, including Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace.

Wolves vs. Brentford (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they welcome Brentford to Molineux on Saturday afternoon.

Bruno Lage's side, who sit 13th in the table, recorded a 2-0 win over Watford in their last league encounter, while 10th-placed Brentford suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Brentford

This has all of the makings of a very interesting match in the Premier League; Wolves will fancy their chances of putting another win on the board, but Brentford have impressed in the early stages of the campaign. We are expecting a close match on Saturday afternoon but are tipping the home side to record a narrow victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Burnley vs. Arsenal (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Arsenal will endeavour to record back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta's side scraped a 1-0 victory over Norwich City in gameweek four, whereas Burnley's winless start continued with a 3-1 defeat at Everton.

We say: Burnley 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal's profligacy against Norwich could have very easily cost them on another day, but with three points under their belts and their injury problems finally easing, they should travel to Turf Moor with a renewed sense of confidence.

Burnley may have garnered four points from two clashes with the Gunners last term, but we are struggling to see the out-of-form Clarets repeating the same trick this time around and are backing Arsenal to make it back-to-back wins in the top flight.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Fresh from an enthralling 3-2 success over AC Milan in the Champions League, Liverpool return to Premier League action with Saturday's visit of Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Meanwhile, the Eagles travel to Merseyside aiming to keep the momentum going from their hugely impressive 3-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

We say: Liverpool 2-0 Crystal Palace

Palace should certainly have a more clinical edge on the attacking front going forwards, with Edouard, Zaha and Conor Gallagher all proving themselves as worthy sources of goals under the Vieira revolution.

As impressive as their win over Spurs was, facing an 11-man Liverpool side could prove a step too far for a team who have historically struggled in this fixture, and we expect the Reds to nullify their opponents' attacking forces during a straightforward success.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Man City vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Manchester City will be looking to record their fifth straight win in all competitions when they welcome Southampton to the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Citizens have picked up nine points from their four league fixtures this term to occupy fifth spot in the table, while Southampton sit 14th, having collected three points from their four matches in 2021-22.

We say: Manchester City 3-1 Southampton

Southampton have proved a tough nut to crack in recent weeks and were particularly impressive in the second half of their clash with Man United on August 22. Man City are so strong at the moment, though, and we are expecting Guardiola's team to score three more goals in another comfortable home success.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Norwich vs. Watford (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two newly-promoted sides enduring difficult starts to life back in the big time prepare to renew hostilities on Saturday, as Norwich City welcome Watford to Carrow Road in gameweek five of the 2021-22 Premier League season.

The Canaries went down 1-0 to Arsenal last weekend, whereas Xisco Munoz's side fell to a 2-0 loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

We say: Norwich City 2-2 Watford

Watford can take inspiration from their strong recent record against the Canaries, who had their moments against Arsenal but were arguably fortunate to only lose 1-0.

Both managers will feel that this game represents the perfect opportunity to put a crucial win on the board, so an entertaining affair could be in store, but we expect a share of the spoils in the end.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Aston Villa vs. Everton (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin celebrates scoring their second goal with teammates on August 28, 2021© Reuters

Everton will hope to maintain their fast start to life under Rafael Benitez when they make the journey to the West Midlands to take on Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

The Toffees marched to a 3-1 success against Burnley in their most recent encounter, while Dean Smith's side fell victim to a Romelu Lukaku-inspired Chelsea in a 3-0 defeat.

We say: Aston Villa 1-2 Everton

Despite their mixed opening to the season, Villa still carry plenty of goal threat and should have no trouble breaching Everton's backline, but the visitors are simply flying under Benitez.

Both managers could be tempted into formation and personnel changes for Saturday's game, and while Villa have been somewhat of a bogey team for Everton in the past couple of years, we expect the Toffees to break that duck with a narrow win.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
