Manchester City will be looking to make it five straight wins in all competitions when they continue their Premier League campaign at home to Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

The Citizens opened their Champions League group-stage campaign with an impressive 6-3 victory over RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Pep Guardiola's side have also won their last three matches in the Premier League to move onto nine points, which has left them in fifth position in the division.

John Stones did not feature against Leipzig on Wednesday due to a knock, but the centre-back has a chance of returning for his team's next Premier League match.

Like Stones, Aymeric Laporte missed training on Tuesday and was unavailable for selection against Leipzig through injury, but the Spain international could be available for the clash with Southampton on Saturday.
