Jack Wilshere makes Arsenal return

Jack Wilshere played 68 minutes for Arsenal's Under-21 side on his return to action this afternoon.

The 20-year-old, who was handed a start as the Gunners clashed with West Bromwich Albion, lasted almost 70 minutes before being replaced.

Sky Sports News claimed that it was "so far, so good" for the midfielder on his return.

The England international has not played for the club in 14 months.
