Arsene Wenger: 'No issues with Arsenal commitment'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger defends the "desire and commitment" of his side after the Gunners suffered a 3-2 defeat away at Manchester United.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he has no complaints regarding the commitment of his side despite the 3-2 defeat away at Manchester United.

The Gunners succumbed to a double from Marcus Rashford and a second-half strike from Ander Herrera as they failed to close the gap on leaders Leicester City, and although he defended his players, he acknowledged that it had been a frustrating afternoon at Old Trafford.

The Frenchman told Sky Sports News: "They scored the goals, we have to look at ourselves. Our spirit and commitment was 100% there but it's difficult to win away from home when you concede three goals.

"We were strong enough but they stopped us a lot with little fouls. That was very frustrating. I could not question our desire or commitment at all."

Arsenal are next in action when they host Swansea City on Wednesday evening.
