Arsene Wenger keen on Arsenal stay

Arsene Wenger reveals that he intends on staying on as Arsenal manager beyond this season.

Arsene Wenger has given his biggest hint yet that he intends on staying on as Arsenal manager beyond this season.

Speculation has been rife that the Frenchman, 64, may call time on his 18-year tenure in North London this summer after failing to ink a contract extension.

However, Wenger, whose existing deal expires in the summer, says that he will put pen to paper on a new contract to prolong his stay with the Gunners.

"Look, I have said that many times already, I have given my word to this club and that I want to continue where I am.... that means to stay," he told beIN Sport on Friday.

Wenger is heavily tipped to bring an end to the club's nine-year trophy drought this season after guiding Arsenal into the FA Cup final, where they will meet Hull City on May 17.
