Arsene Wenger hails Santi Cazorla impact

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claims that Santi Cazorla could be "one of the buys of the season" following the Spaniard's Premier League debut against Sunderland.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that Santi Cazorla could be "one of the buys of the season" following the Spaniard's Premier League debut for the club.

The midfielder, who joined the Gunners from Malaga earlier this month, impressed during Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to Sunderland.

"He played very well and looks like he could be one of the buys of the season," Wenger told Arsenal's official website.

"He has everything you want in the game. He can play short, he can play long, on the right or left, he can play the final ball and works hard as well. He is a fighter so it is very positive for us."

Cazorla is expected to feature again for Wenger's side when they travel to Stoke City on Sunday.
