Arsenal captain Robin van Persie gives the biggest indication yet that he is ready to commit his future to the club.

Robin van Persie has suggested that he is planning to continue his career with Arsenal.

The Dutch international's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks as he has yet to agree a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.

However, the Gunners skipper has admitted that he is happy with his life in London.

"We love the life in London and I enjoy watching my kids grow up here," said the 28-year-old. "They grow up like the English kids with good manners and values of England.

"The place where we live, just outside the city, is fantastic. We have everything we want.

"The English people are so incredibly polite where I live. People are nice here. That makes life a real pleasure."

Van Persie joined Arsenal in 2004 from Feyenoord.
