Arsenal head of operations Raul Sanllehi reportedly identifies former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique as his top pick for the club's next manager.

Arsenal's head of operations Raul Sanllehi has reportedly identified former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique as his top choice to succeed Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium.

According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners hierarchy is divided on the matter of who the next manager should be, with Sanllehi's fellow kingmakers Sven Mislintat and Ivan Gazidis eyeing different candidates.

The club's head of recruitment Mislintat, who joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in November, is said to be keen on Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann and Schalke 04 head coach Domenico Tedesco.

Gazidis, meanwhile, was previously reported to have identified former Gunners player Mikel Arteta as a strong candidate to replace Wenger at the end of the season.

Arsenal's interest in Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers and Newcastle United's Rafael Benitez has reportedly cooled of late, with former bookmakers' favourite Thomas Tuchel appearing to be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain.
