Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey admits that his contract situation at the club is not a priority for the Gunners.

Aaron Ramsey has admitted that a potential renewal of his Arsenal contract is not at the top of the priority list for his club.

The Welsh international only has one year left on his contract, but Ramsey insists that Arsenal have been focusing on resolving the future of other players first.

The 27-year-old is also certain that his side have turned a corner following their disappointing form in recent weeks.

"There are many ups and downs in football," Ramsey told BT Sport.

"We went through a sticky patch, so it was important to go to Milan and get a result. I feel like we have turned a little corner. Consistency has been our key, we know on our day we are capable of competing with anybody.

When questioned about his future at Arsenal, Ramsey added: "Nothing to comment on at the moment, I think they've been busy to tie up other contracts at the moment."

In response to whether his contract is further down the priority list at Arsenal, Ramsey responded: "I think so."

Petr Cech, Nacho Monreal, Danny Welbeck and David Ospina are all also out of contract at the end of next season.
